"Lost and Found" - July 2025
Hosted by the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery in Melbourne, Florida. The "Lost and Found" exhibit is a show all about creativity. A yearly tradition at the gallery, each participating artist purchases a "kit" with all of the random found objects that they must incorporate into their mixed media artwork. My piece was titled "Majorelle-esque Metamorphosis" and featured all of the random items in the kit including a small paper cup lid, tongue depressor, skeleton key, wooden craft star, craft paper, small envelope and a lollipop stick. I added the large wooden circular base, butterfly & moth details, more wooden craft shapes and skeleton keys, lots of paint, a little decoupage and a thrift store mirror to bring my entry to life.
